An Old School Biker

Bikers with a need for the road to stretch out in front of them but without a care for destinations. This does not depend on the brand they straddle or even their age. It doesnít really matter if itís a Cruiser or a Sport bike, but the Old School biker knows with each style of motorcycle comes its own etiquette. Their machines are an extension of themselves and will only be put on a trailer by a repo man. They ride any weather any time to anywhere. They have a way of thinking not understood by those who don't know. Most of all, they understand the meaning of respect, discipline and values. This they live by, and die by if the need be. You want to be one of them? Make them your friends then listen carefully to the things they say, and watch what they do. The number of years you've been in the saddle does not make you an Old School biker. Rather, its a state of the mind, a way of thinking. You'll know when you get there.

Welcome To The OSBM Supporters Forum!
This is where OSBM supporters talk old school biking. Some boards on this forum are open for viewing by public guests. Others are reserved for our supporter members and can't be seen by the public. In order to become a member of this forum you need to register yourself as an OSBM supporter. Of course, you'll only do this if you honestly support the old school biking concept.
OSBM was established in 2011 with these objectives:
  • To provide a reference to the definition of biking
Our web site is this reference. Its an online "biking manual" for those seeking direction. It reflects the product of countless hours of research by the OSBM core. Our site does not lay down rules. We expose guidelines only.
  • To protect and promote the accepted traditions and protocols
We feel strongly that the traditions and protocols of old school biking must be preserved and carried forward to our youth, and future generations.
  • To provide guidance and education to those seeking to define themselves
We make ourselves available to guide and assist those who require assistance.
  • To provide a supporter platform for those who are in agreement with these objectives
This forum provides the supporter platform. It is from here that the concept of old school biking will re-grow and spread to all corners of our biking paradise.
We do have a couple of rules here, but because you already support old school biking we assume you'll find them logical.
  • Your participation will be appreciated. Post, ask questions. Nothing is stupid and nobody will laugh.
  • Always show the necessary respect to your fellow OSB supporter members at all times.
  • We don't get personal here. If you have an issue with another member you'll sort it in the proper old school way - personally by PM, email or face to face.
  • Remember that everybody will not always agree with you. Accept that.
  • The caption on the OSBM logo applies here at all times - FIFO (Fit In or Fuck Off)
  • We are all bikers, so at the end of the day we are in the same team.
We sincerely hope that you will enjoy this forum.
